Be Mine?

Wearing a dusty rose/pink sweater with two toned boot cut jeans and black ankle boots

Happy Valentine's week! Even though it's a 'Hallmark Holiday', Valentine's day is one of my favorite holidays. I've never celebrated the holiday romantically, but what's more fun than a movie, dinner, and dancing with your best girls? I love to wear pink and red, so this week I've taken full advantage of the holiday to wear all of my rose-colored pieces, including this amazing pink sweater.

This outfit is so simple but also so fun and trendy! My sweater is from my favorite boutique in D.C., but I'll link some similar pieces below. I love the unfinished/raw look of it that gives a pink sweater a bit of a tougher and edgier look!

The jeans I've worn before on the blog, they're from Revice denim and I love that they're so unique and different from my typical dark wash skinny jeans (plus, everyone compliments them from the nurse at student health to the most fashionable girl in my French class).

My boots are new-ish (I got them for Christmas) and I love that they give me a bit of height without being obvious. They're from an amazing vegan shoe brand and they're extremely comfortable!

Finally, I accessorized with gold jewelry. My 'L' initial necklace was a Christmas gift as well which was perfect because I hadn't mentioned wanting one at all, but our neighbors surprised me with it. My sparkly ring is from Madewell and has recently been a staple in my everyday look. Finally, my 'L' initial ring is from The M Jewelers and was a gift from my sister. I did tell her that I wanted it, but it was a total surprise opening it on Christmas morning! Last but not least, my classic pearl earrings.

What's your go-to Valentine's day look? xo, Lauren
