Hi everyone! Today, I'm sharing the beauty & skincare products that I have to have on the plane. In my last life update, I mentioned doing a summer study abroad in Hong Kong. I leave in a few days so I'm taking a break from packing and writing this post.

First things first, the bag that I bring on the plane is from my mom. I think she got it as a free gift with purchase and it's a pink & gold Chloe pouch. It's small but it fits in all of my bags and it's great for my essentials. It's unavailable to purchase, but I'll include links to some of my favorite little cosmetics bags.

Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores created magic with this mask. I put it on under my eyes and within minutes the dark circles disappear! It's supposed to be applied to clean dry skin which works for me because I never wear makeup on the plane. The Jet Lag Mask uniquely works as a primer and doesn't have to be rinsed off. Plus, it's cruelty-free, vegan, and doesn't contain any harmful chemicals!

I've been obsessed with this facial spray for a little over a year. My sister got me a travel size bottle for Christmas so I can take it through TSA! I spritz this on my face throughout the flight, whenever I feel like my skin needs a little extra hydration. I love it because it can be applied under or over makeup,  so if I decide to apply foundation & mascara before landing, I can continue to use the spray to keep my face refreshed.

I've recently started using Native deodorant because it's aluminum and paraben free. I got a mini version free with my first purchase, so now I keep it in my bag for whenever I need it. I rarely apply deodorant on short flights but on longer flights, I sleep for hours and don't always wake up feeling fresh. Enter: Native.

It's super important to have an extremely moisturizing lip balm on the plane. There's nothing worse than stepping out of the airport with dry, cracking lips. I'm picky about my lip balms and at the moment this one is my go-to (I literally don't leave my house without it). It feels like Vaseline, but better because it's not greasy at all. It's so creamy and thick and I can feel it sinking into my skin when I put it on.

Moisturizer
The recirculated plane air makes my dry skin feel like a desert which is why I take so much care into hydrating it. Currently in my beauty bag, is a sample packet of the Skin & Co. facial oil. I've never used it so I can't speak to how great it is but it's there because I always need an extra thick, extra moisturizing moisturizer (a bit redundant, but you know what I mean).

Makeup
I do keep a few makeup items in my bag in case I decide that I want to apply it on the plane. I rarely ever do this since I'm usually going to the hotel, but a couple of times I've landed mid-day at my destination and gone straight to a restaurant or sight-seeing. Not pictured are my foundation and mascara as I'm currently looking for new ones (leave recommendations pls). I love to bring the Models Own liquid highlighter, even though it's not my favorite because it's easy to apply and control and I can use my fingers or a beauty blender.
