Happy Monday everyone! I've been enjoying my 3-day weekend to the fullest and trying to stay stress-free since it was one of the busiest weekends I had this year. Early Saturday morning I crossed off one of my bucket list items by attending a TEDx Conference. The topic was "change" and I got to hear from some amazing speakers, it was everything I hoped for. I bought this top from LuLu's to wear to TEDx specifically, and it ended up being too perfect to take off!
After TEDx, I picked up my sister and we did some homework and studying at a local coffee shop. I ordered my all-time favorite drink, a chai latte (with almond milk of course). Then it was time to get ready for a concert. Waka Flocka Flame was performing at our local venue, and even though I'm not a huge fan of his music it was very hype and all of my friends were going. Like I said, I'm in love with this top and I didn't want to change, so I used accessories to transform my look from day to night. I switched out my Kendra Scott earrings for a pair of silver studs and my watch for a gold wrap bracelet. I kept my black jeans but switched out my ankle booties for my gray Adidas sneakers, which unfortunately got ruined as my feet were trampled by other feet...if you have any tips for cleaning suede please let me know!
I had a great time at the Waka concert with my friends and my sister, and it was a great memory to start off 2017. I cannot believe that we're already 2 weeks in, halfway through January. In a couple of weeks, I'll be a second semester senior in high school which is kind of crazy to comprehend!
Have a good day, xoxo Lauren.
