Hello everyone! I realized that I haven't talked about nails in quite a while, so I thought I would share my most recent manicure with you. Sunday afternoon my sister and I headed to the nail salon, and while I had every intention of getting a deep Christmas-y red I walked out with something different!
While browsing the racks of nail polishes, this taupe-y brown caught my eye and drew me in. This color is OPI's Suzi Loves Cowboys, which is an autumnal deep, dark brown. I took photos in 3 different types of light so I could try to show why I love it so much. I've only been wearing it for a few hours and I'm already a fan of how versatile it is.
As you can see in the photos the polish looks completely different depending on the light. Outside in natural light and with the flash from my camera, it appears to be a "greige" or grey-brown. This is the reason I originally chose this color; it appears effortless and can be worn with everything. In the photo from indoors with no lights on, it's much more of a chocolate brown which I was not expecting but is unique in its own way.
OPI nail polishes are known for having a smooth application, which I can attest to. I only needed 2-3 coats, and typically OPI lasts about 10 days on my nails
Let me know in the comments below what you think of this color, and what you are wearing on your nails right now! Stay tuned, xo Lauren.
