Thanksgiving OOTD/Recap

November 27, 2015

I'm writing this as we are winding down on Thanksgiving day, and I wanted to provide not only an outfit of the day but also a recap of how my day went.  I woke up at about 8:45 AM this morning so I could watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which I absolutely love! To be completely honest, I wasn't very impressed with the parade this year. There were no performers that I absolutely loved, but I was happy to see my favorite floats and balloons such as Snoopy and Charlie Brown!

After watching the parade for about an hour and a half, I took my shower and changed into my outfit for the day.  This year we had Thanksgiving at my aunt's house, and we did not have that many people in attendance. It was also quite warm, so I decided on a cute sweater and black jeans. I wanted to be comfortable, but also cute for Snapchats and whoever happened to stop by :)

We ate our Thanksgiving meal at 2 P.M., and it was delicious. I am so thankful to live in a family where we don't have to worry about having enough food and everyone is healthy and safe. Following our meal, some of us girls took a walk around the neighborhood.  The weather was so nice, and it was great to get fresh air. Since then we've all been hanging out together playing Heads Up and watching Ratatouille.  I hope you all had an wonderful Thanksgiving with your families and took a moment to think about what you are thankful for.
