La Romana, Dominican Republic: Spring Break

Palm Trees in La Romana, Dominican Republic

I've been back on campus for a week and somehow it feels like 2 months. The past week has been so full that I feel like I've barely had a moment to breathe! I'm excited to finally be publishing this post, though I will admit I love last year's Spring Break in Miami post 100x more. Between Miami and Seattle I fell in love with travel posts, but since this year's spring break was a relaxing resort instead of a bustling city I had to change up the style of the post.

We stayed in Dreams La Romana, an amazing resort that I recommend for anyone traveling to the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic! The resort is all-inclusive and features amenities for literally everyone. Adventurers (like my sister) can enjoy water sports like paddle boarding and kayaking. Gamers (like my brother) can enjoy life-size chess (we did make my sister stand-in for a knight and pretend that we were playing wizard's chess) as well as a pool table, giant Connect 4, foosball, and table tennis! My mom and I loved relaxing on the beach and near the pool. Our favorite amenity was the swim up bar where my brother and I ordered (maybe a dozen) virgin piƱa coladas!

Another family vacation on the books! What's your favorite family vacation that you've been on? We fell in love with Dreams La Romana and I hope to go back soon! xx, Lauren
