I just posted a few days ago a post about how I barely have time to read, but I made time for this book. Sophia Amoruso's #GIRLBOSS has been on my to-read list for a while now, and when I received an email from my library that it was back in I didn't hesitate before checking it out; here we are a week later and I want to buy it!
Admittedly, I'm only half-way through it, but I've already learned so much. If you don't know, Sophia Amoruso is the founder and CEO of Nasty Gal. Her book details her story of starting the company as a vintage eBay shop, to the major fashion brand that it is now. Amoruso's story is unconventional, as she built her brand from the ground up and did it without going to college or doing what was expected of her.
This book is definitely one to read; it's not too long or heavy and is chalk full of great advice for starting a business! It's full of super inspiring quotes, that would also be great to print out and put on a gallery wall (I just gave myself an amazing idea)!
