Black Friday Blues

Fall Pinterest inspired outfit featuring Barbour and Burberry

Welcome back! I had the best Thanksgiving break ever and now I'm back at school grinding out these next few weeks until I'm back home for the holidays!
My family has never been huge Black Friday participants, but this year, per my aunt's request, we paused our This Is Us marathon and piled into the car to experience the madness! It wasn't too bad at all, we didn't end up leaving the house until about 2:30/3pm on Friday, but there we still tons of people roaming the stores and fighting over sales (we actually heard a woman threaten to f**king thump someone in the throat when we were in J.C. Penney)! For the first time in what feels like forever, there wasn't any sale I was dying to take advantage of. Bath and Body Work's is usually my go-to (the candles were buy 3 get 3 free), but since I candles are banned in the dorms and I'm still burning some from last year's Black Friday haul it was a no-go. Long story short, I didn't buy anything on Black Friday or Cyber Monday!

I did, however, wear this easy, comfortable outfit almost every day when I was at home. It was great for traveling, but also just warm enough for on the go and inside on the couch (did I mention we marathoned This Is Us?). My inspiration for this outfit was taken from my fall style inspiration Pinterest board, I just adapted the outfit based on my style and what was in my closet. Everything I wore is a piece I already had and have had for a while, and it was super fun creating a new look from old pieces! I have a couple other outfits that are inspired by pics from Pinterest, so let me know if you'd like to see them!

Thanks for reading! Did you do any Black Friday Shopping? If so, what did you get? xx, Lauren
